Default going to be installing my scc springs this weekend if my 275/40/18 tires will work.

Title explains my intentions. I've got the scc Gxp spring kit. 2.5" front/2.0"rear. What do you guys think? Might be a little low but its not my daily driver anymore. Can anybody confirm that my tires will fit without issues? 275/40/18 with stock rears. From the looks of things I've have tons of room. Massive of wheel well gap

I'm lowered on ssc's with 275's but I only have a 1.8" drop in the front. It could fit with the 2.5" springs though.

Let us know how it works out.

I'd say it's gonna be pretty close. With my 1.8" it looks sweet and there isn't a whole lot of space left. I think you'll be right at the tire when lowered. And who knows if you'll hit when you turn.

I hear that. But I guess that's the only way to find out as I don't think anyone else is lowered with ssc with 275's in the front but me. And only one person lowered 2.5 up front with stock tires.

It should clear now that I've had time to think about it. Im running a 40 series tire vs a 45. My tire height is 26.5 vs 27. Only concern is rubbing. But i don't rub now when going over big bumps.

They're still selling those 2.0"s for the rear?

I told him to switch to 1.5" as 2.0" in the rear might be pushing it when it comes to a full back seat and full trunk.

Also, the 0.5" difference isn't enough. The car still looks like it's sagging. My 1" difference is on point.

Might have to give them a call about this tomorrow.

It's a long process. You'll need four (4) camber kits as well. Use A LOT of anti-seize and remember to torque your bolts!

I didn't torque mine the first time (back in April) and after a few months I had clicks and noises like you wouldn't believe.

Replaced my 2.0"s in the rear with 1.5"s, put in camber bolts (all wheels), anti-seize (all 8 bolts and nuts), and then torque'd everything (did this all two weeks ago) and now I'm good. Just need to get an alignment sometime soon.

Are Anti pogo washers needed? And who do I get the camber kit from?

No washers needed.

ACDelcos: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,7542. Make sure to put in your vehicle.

MOOGs: http://www.moog-suspension-parts.com...name&Sec=12430

ACDelco:

MOOG K5330:

ACDelcos allow a +/- 1-3/4 degree camber adjustment while the MOOGs allow a +/- 1-1/4 degree adjustment. So a higher degree of adjustment with the ACDelcos.

5% RockAuto coupon code may still work: 40076333300853

Can I use the MOOG kit in the front too? Or do I use the AC Delcos in the front and the MOOGS in the rear?

Yeah there are different kit manufacturers, but you only need one kit type for the entire vehicle.

I just went with the ACDelcos because I liked the simplicity, design, and higher degree of adjustment due to my 2.5" drop in the front.
