My Journey to a GXP (pics included) 56k pound sand
I finally bought myself a decent car. 2007 GXP 55k on the clock. I have had some alright vehicles leading up to this car. Here is my journey to get to this point.
A little background on myself. I am from Minnesota and live in the Twin Cities area. I am 26 and like long walks on the beach
I had a few piles of **** in high school that I will be leaving out starting with my first car out.
2002 Dodge Stratus R/T - It was stolen back in 2006
after it was stolen I decided to go a different route and picked up a 1989 Chevy 1500 4x4 and well turned it into a sleeper. I built a 383stroker and mated to a TH400 with 4.10's and a detroit locker. I still miss this truck.
I was sick of getting 6mpg on the freeway with that truck and sold it. Next I picked up a 2005 Dodge Stratus R/T that I really liked quite a bit and put a lot of *** time it was good to me and I was good to it, but it lacked any sort of space inside of the car (didnt learn my lesson from the last one) I am 6'2 and apparently the car is designed for people under 5'9.
I actually wish I would have kept that car instead of trading it, but its hard to live in the city and have 2 cars. I finally decided to get out of the 2 doors and pick up something a little bigger. I was not even considering a GP, but at the stealership I saw this beast sitting there and before I even drove it or opened the door, I knew it was the one for me. . After I had them put new tires on it, (weird that it has 2 different sizes and you cant rotate them) new floor mats, wiper blades, tranny service, full tank of gas, new steering shaft and intermediate shaft they said
I am pretty pleased so far with it.
Plans:
Trans Cooler
Computer tune - need advice on who to go through.
Tint the windows
maybe some exhaust work

Yes, very nice story. Gotta love the LS4 (minus trans). But I agree with Nacho. I have a 1080p monitor and the pics are still way to big to see. Resize them things!

hey nacho...i didnt feel like going through my photobucket and resizing them! I gave ample warming about the 56k and them being big lol.
I have had a ton of fun in each of these cars, hopefully the fun continues with the GXP!
