Can't get my TB adapter off without pulling the intake.
Going to have to wait tell I do my LS6 intake swap.
I'm going to use the 2001 LS6 85mm MAF with this tb
Just ordered my 4" coupler and adapter harness for the MAF. Stay tuned....

I thought you were the first to try this mod out?
I used the schematics in your old LS6 intake swap thread.. https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls4-front...ct-update.html
TB #1257080
Used Ballenger motorsports adapters.
Using this TB rather then the thick *** adapter (No offense to Brain or Ron) will allow the air to enter the Intake faster. Also, the larger tubing will allow more voloume to flow thru the TB. I'll Probabaly sacrifice some mid range tq.

So I had to try this as it's killing me to get this new built motor up and running. I did the rewire matching the truck LS6 and LS4 wiring to proper terminals. Same here, reduced engine power flashing on dash. I then took each throttle body hooked it up to the car and referenced the voltage with key in run position (motor not running) and found that all voltages matched pretty close, except for the following:
LS4 A Terminal volts TP Sensor 1 - 3.58v throttle closed and decreases as throttle blade is moved.
LS6 G Terminal volts TP Sensor 1 - 1.21v throttle closed and increases as throttle blade is moved.
I'm no electronics engineer, but the TP Sensor 1 difference must be the issue as it's a huge voltage difference and works opposite on each tbody.
TP Sensor 2 - this functioned the same on both throttle bodies. 1.44v closed on LS4 and increased as blade opened and 1.22v on LS6 and increased as blade opened.
So, I am waiting for someone to make an adapter.

Me and my stinking ideas! GM made it impossible for us to mod this car.
Only out 50.00. Not giving up yet. Going to make a few phone calls tomorrow
Need to mod the .5v reference sig. Somehow..
Use the TAC and APPS form the truck for this TB, or build a voltage modifier?
I'm still going to put it on to see if it runs.

My E40 ecm has a built in tac. Best bet is to use a ls2 tb, which brings me back to the tpid 90mm ls6, manifold. The truck tb must be used with the truck tac and ecm.
Dam....
I can post the the link later.

I just spoke with Robert@fuel injection connection and he said that as long as the throttle blade is opening and closing without trowing any codes then it should work just fine. I played with the TB for about 5mins yesterday and not a single code popped up.
Did supercatxr install the TB and try to drive around with it? I thought his motor wasn't running at the time.
