I am looking at installing halo headlights in my GXP, however I would like to get an idea of how they look before I buy them.

My GXP is black, so if yours is black that would be great!

someone makes a replacement headlight that has them but the few people that bought them said it was a bad product if i remember right

I've been working on getting the Morimoto Minis D2S into those projector headlights for quite some time now.

Yesterday, I finally managed to get one lined up correctly.

Check GPONA for other members' pictures.

FYI: The light output from those headlights isn't all that great. That's why I'm doing the retrofit.

Wow, thats a major con for me. I really really like the light output in the stock headlights. Any reduction would be a major flaw as far as im concerned.

How did you go about having those tinted? They look great. I might buy an extra set of tails so I have them when I want to look....Normal? I guess

There is a thread over on gpona and on grandprixforum.net both warning people to stay away from these as they have worse output than the stock lights.

Good thing i came across this as i was going to get the tinted projection lights that are on Ebay. I like how they look though.

My friend had a 06 gxp gunmetal metalic or whatever they call it (mine is black) he traded it in so no pics but he put ebay projectors on it. It wasnt but maybe 4-6 mo's before the housing's started cracking and fading etc. but, at install we also wired up 55w 10k hids and the projector instructions clearly stated not to use hid's at all.....let alone a 55w kit....lol. My guess is they would probably hold up with regular 9008's or whatever we use. maybe even a 35w hid kit but thats a big maybe.

i put them on my 2006 gxp. they look great.i also changed the tails to led and they look great also

I have the tinted halos in my car the light output is a little worse than it was before however if you have good fog lights it will not make a difference in the end. I have had no problems with my lights and had them since march. I will try to post up a picture later they make the car look so much better espically because i have the dark cherry(purple) gxp and i have black light leds in the led strip that shoot out purple
