Default Anyone have access to a FAST LSXr 102mm Intake?

I have a hunch. They don't have the pronounced rear bulge like the 90mm variants. it appears that the overall size wouldn't be much bigger (if any) than a LS1/6 with the MAP mounted on the rear of the intake. you'd need to move the MAP somewhere else...but that's easy.

could possibly be good news...anyone wanna take a couple measurements for me?

also as far as possibly working with a 90mm FAST...we can gain significant clearance behind the intake if we relocate the power steering reservoir which would be a simple task. other questionable items include the power steering pump line from said reservoir. the angle at the pump may need changed/adjusted. I'm looking at other GM remote res pumps to see if there is any difference.

making progress though and thats what counts

I think 102mm would be way to big for our small bore motor. this is still very interesting. Moving the res shouldn't be much of an issue as long as it is higher then the pump

You can never have too much intake on an EFI motor. Plus the worst that could happen is a loss in low end and gain in high end. Which wouldn't be a bad thing for our cars and their traction handicap

still trying to get the coworker to show up with the FAST 90mm - i have the LS1 sitting here for direct comparison. we're on different teams that rotate 2 weeks on 1 week off so it creates a serious scheduling conflict. we almost never see each other.

he did mention a price below 300 bucks though. so i'm happy with that

there are better options, cody at wicked hp (holds the world record for fastest 2010 camaro on pump gas, 93 no less) hates them. the only reason they are worth anything is the throttle body inlet size. you can find better and cheaper options if you put some google-fu research.

I have one on my denali, the thing is massive I doubt it would even come close to fitting, let alone not cause hood clearance issues

Who needs a hood when you have a hump back whale to show off under the hood.

some people forget we have cathedral port heads...not rectangular port like the larger displacement LS motors...

they do make a 102 to fit our heads but our accessory drive is the issue. i believe it would interfere with the PS pump itself based on pictures and scaling things out.
