For the first time out, the 1/4 mile time doesn't mean ****. It's the trap speed that matters, and 114 MPH is no joke. That car will be well into the 12's once he gets the traction handled.

Of course, the trans will die soon after!

Had 8 pounds of boost with dump open. Didn't open the dump until the car shifts to second, transmission thanks me.
Car was never tuned just run. The times aren't ground braking but really not that bad. The DA was over 1800 air temp was 79 degrees.

Thank you,
Barry

I was just comparing that 13.5 to what the car will run on full bolt ons and a tune which is 13.5 so there's no real pickup there. But now I see your untuned so that could explain it.

Yeah but a bolt on tuned car traps like 104-105 he is trapping 114. With sticky tires and sub 2.0 60 foot and that car will be well into the 12s.

Stage 2 kits should trap around 118, so you have a lot more power coming with a tune.

He got a 2.58 60ft! With stickies and spring blocks, I'm sure he could get a 2.0 or better.

If he did get a 2.0, then his ET would have been 12.38. Once tuned, I'm sure the car will do much better.

114 mph is about 390 fwhp in our cars. I trapped 111mph and put down 360 fwhp last fall.

Not to hijack, Levi, but did you just add that Berger panel on the Camaro? I was thinking of doing that on my 2002.

No offense, but that's a pretty clueless comment.
