I put a few cars on a stage 2 S/C no problem they are quick but if you can drive you shouldn't have a problem beating him.

s/c should be a lot easier than the T. Ive raced both but neither stock form. IF u loose u can always refer to it being a cavalier.

I've never lost to an SS sc and I'm just bolt ons...race him and find out. I've beat my buddies stage 3 a few times by a length or more.

I have a GXP and my brother-in law has an SS. They are pretty quick. I went with him to pick it up when he bought it. He got it in Bloomington I drove it back all the way to Arlington heights. I topped it out on the way back and when I told him how fast I was going he started giggling like a little girl (it was brand new too). I think if your friend had a stage 2 or 3 kit on it should be faster. Ive driven one with a stage 2 and first gear is useless front tires just go up in smoke if you give it more than half throttle.

I would assume that you'll lose, but all these people saying they have beat a Cobalt SS / SC.... I want a video when you race him!! Good Luck!

If your stock and hes stage 2 it will be close. Probably a drivers race.

Yeah if your a bum driver you'll lose, of you drive the car like it can and should be driven you WILL win stock vs stock and most likely stage 2

Hmmm hard to say. I own both, a quite modded gxp and a balt SC stage 2 with catback. I'm sure the gxp would prevail, but man the s/c pulls hard as hell. Makes me wonder, although I haven't lined the 2 together. Unfortunately the gxp is in need of tranny work this year, so its going to have to wait. Lol

slap a pully and injectors on the Slowbalts and they can be pretty quick depending if your buddy can drive, I say it will be a good roll race

never raced one, but the local cruise night has quite a few of both the SCs and TCs and they seem to have a harder time getting traction than we do

the severe lack of traction could save you if you can race a fwd. not a easy skill to master. keep the race short and you got it 1/4 you should be ok from a free way on ramp................................different story
