nice custom made pieces, gotta hand it to him, dont think ill need anything like that because the engine itself will be bracing alot of the movement.

that one brace wont be the saving grace for the trans with how badly contaminated with sand the casting is, if its gonna crack, it will crack in a new location more then anything. Only time is gonna tell if ill need a new case or not.

put some jb weld in it then some on it lol i seen what u did i think u will be ok u could even put some rubberized tar on it then paint it to keep said contaminates out i know i spelled that wrong but u know what I'm saying spawne

when im able to put the fire out on my wallet im gonna upgrade that to the LS6, it will be a good before and after comparison. Not investing anymore money into this project until its running again. lol

on the home stretch now, gotta go to ace tomorrow and pick up some threaded rod and get the crank pulley pressed on, then hopefully sometime this week i can get this thing dropped in.

Threaded rod? Just use the old bolt and bolt it on tight then use the new bolt and tourqe that ****** on
