So time to finally update this thread, told you guys i was working on a solution to fitting the manifold next to the power steering pump without hacking away at the manifold. Went by some visuals already provided by the fast 102 LSXR swap, and my own observations.

So as you can see from the pics, heres the clearance issues we are dealing with...

Now the speed master isnt nearly as large as the LSXR, but you can see our friend here reworked the inlet port for the PS pump with great success. Difference here is, i dont intend on using jbweld.

So, lopped off the outlet of the pump.

and some surgical reattachment, and there you have it. Have to thank my neighbor tom for some fine welding work on the port, hopefully I can have this manifold and LS3 TB swap done soon enough.

wont know for sure until i get it on there again, this should deal with the clearance issues on the back side of the manifold quite nicely though, aside from that, no other foreseeable problems, just a matter of getting all the parts together. Even if i cant use the factory fuel rail, plenty of other options available to make that an easy fix. Only thing I really need to look at now is where to tap a new port for the MAP sensor on the manifold. But i can put that just about anywhere. Probably just go with the traditional LS2 style location which is right up by the throttle body.

I'm in the same boat with the tbss intake, it's pretty much the same as the fast 102 but I refuse to cut into the runner, I'm working on a electric powersteering retrofit now

shame the delphi saginaw style pumps dont come with an outlet that works right, they all have the same damn bolt pattern, but ive only see outlets that would wind up hitting the manifold. lol

it looks like u could grind that piece of manifold with one of those die grinders and put a piece of sturdy rubber in there but my buddy says he is gonna do it like yours he can weld so ill ask about the kaltech issue that 91 talked about see if he can weld that too and i talked to will he said that 04-07 need adapter harness like u said but 08 just plugs in so happy about that we are starting this weekend while car is getting fixed, then I'm gonna take it over to his garage and pull this manifold and see whats what ill keep driving the grey ghost 05 magnum with 234k on her i had a guy that was gonna buy it the next day i just had it inspected than this happened lol

Sucks just turning the nipple on the PS pump and filing a bit of the manifold won't work for you guys like it did for me. We just have a very shitty PS system in the first place.

I havent mocked mine up yet, you have yours apart though right? Sit the stock fuel rail on the manifold with the injectors and see if the injector spacers will give enough clearance for it, post some pics.

oh hood clearance shouldnt be an issue i would think, if parkave can fit a truck manifold under his hood, this one is alot lower.

Hood clearnence is not a issue at all with a car intake. I got the tbss to clear with the factory truck fuel rails
