This could be a stupid question but since there is no water thru this manifold could the gaskets be cut and pieced in sections and shellacked in place?

THat doesnt make any sense, they still wouldnt match up to the cylinder head if you did that
It looks like the pic only the end port is off a bit, his seems much closer than yours?
it is, but it doesnt change the fact that the port is still offset from the head, thats what needs to be corrected, its not the gasket thats the problem.
So basically this could really never work. The intake has been ported,he has different heads than you, and many gaskets have been tried and still not really close. This is a boat anchor. This thread should be closed.

No...... it's still better than a ls1 manifold according to hot rod mag. It's a budget manifold we all know you get what you pay for, this shouldn't be hard to port match
