Default Motor mounts

So I'm about to do motor mounts on my car, sadly I don't have funds for 11nutz build or I would get them, but I'm about to purchase and so far I see 3 on rock auto, I remember one more I believe but anyhow does anyone have a guide to do these? I remember seeing one somewhere, I tried a search but nada..

I think I actually found your thread linking from the Grand Prix forum after I wrote this lol, uhm and Amazon...? Really? Hmmm....I saw replacements for the upper one but I think I want a poly, if I'm not modded is it even worth the change out, since I'm sure the material has been somewhat upgraded over the years...?

For the upper you want the one available from intense-racing.

For the lowers amazon all day.

Rear is easy enough with a jack 2x4 and 15mm sockets. Takes me about 20minutes with my a.d.d *** to do.

I meant the one on the passenger side, I saw in your guide you removed the trans axle, I also read in one of my previous threads that someone had grinder down the length of the bolt for it to fit on that side under the transaxle, I know I never changed that one and one other, but the front lower so I'm kinda gonna have to do them all sadly lol..

Okay I'm assuming after I remove the weather guard I should see that, so where can I access the right rear mount and the transmission mount? I believe it is that I have left. I would assume the right rear would be near the master cyclinder ? And trans maybe near the rear manifold?

Just found your thread regarding trans mount, you are awesome lol. Now what about the rear mount ....

Never mind sorry 91 I thought it was four of them on the bottom but it's only three, right front, right rear and trans and then the upper, correct?

Okay so I started changing them and got stuck...on the passenger side there are two at the top, one closest to the wheel and another right on the side of the tranny, how the hell do I get that one off? I tried using a wrench but it's on so tight I can't get it off, I can't use any of my breaker bars cause it's too tight of a fit... Any ideas?

I ended up using the old school wrench and muscled it off eventually, took about 30+ mins from the time it was loose to get it off, I seen that it never had been changed because it still had some red locktite rust from factory im assuming, I put the one new one and instant lift lol, changed the transmission mount as well but I lost a bolt to the control arm so now I have to get one from the junkyard tomarrow from a old Grand Prix or Monte ...I appreciate your help 91, you never fail Brodie .

Side note I also keep forgetting to pm you about the fender intake for a Monte, I saw your screen shot and the frame work of course is different, but what did you use to cut it?

So question the one for intense-racing is this one right?
"INTENSE High Performance Polyurethane Upper Motor Mount for LSx Engines"

Also I see on Ebay ZZPerformance has a mount insert as well..how does that compare to Intense Racing?

And for the bottom ones, any recommendation? model/brands?

In addition to these, as you have already been instructed...

http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/...LSx_Suspension

You will want these as well while you are at it...

http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/...y_Code=3800_BS

Just order those and the other one from intense... don't worry about ZZP

I have no particular recommendation for the other mounts I'd likely just go OEM or get the ones from amazon etc as already mentioned... I'm flip flopping with the idea of purchasing the custom fab poly motor mounts seen on here, though I would not suggest you get them unless you are modified.
