I'm just teasing, this car has had more fine work done in the last year then most. It needs to be right, people are counting on you. Your flock awaits your next move lol.

The intermediate section I got for free because it was damaged, but that was 44 dollars. We wound up cutting that up to attach to the Y. So maybe a little over 300? Tips were probably the most expensive thing, assuming they ever come in, they were 25 bucks a piece.
I just realized you went 2.5 instead of 3 inch all the way down, I'm sure you've answered this question In a previous thread but only the impala came in 2.5? The gxp and Monte came in 2.25? I was wondering why they sounded deeper than the montes...if that's the case their whole system is 2.5 instead of 2.25? Sheesh...

As far as I know, all of the stock systems go 2.5 to 1 7/8. However the OE replacement pipes for the grand prix's and other models, only come in 2.25 to 1 7/8 so I had to use the impala as the reference for the part #'s to get the parts that big. Since walker makes dynomax, they offer the dynomax parts as separate pieces rather then buying the kit itself. The upgrade Y section i used is 2.5 to 2.25 (even though in reality its more like 2.38) and same goes for the mufflers, and the outlets of the mufflers are 2.5 as well (again more like 2.38 actual inside diameter).

Good deal, catch can looks nice. How much oil are you losing to drop that kinda coin or do you just prefer the looks or other features of the JLT?

It's not so much that im losing oil, its that there are puddles in the center of the intake. When I do this im gonna have to pull the intake and clean it out. I have 6000 miles on the rebuild and the intake ports are black with oil.

btw reason i opted for the JLT catch can isnt just because of how pretty it is, its the performance.

so got some genssi tips in today from amazon, for whatever reason, i must have a crooked eye when I put them on, or the contour of the bumper is slightly angled, i tried to keep a half inch of clearance along the top side of the bumper above both tips and they wound up coming out on a slight angle for whatever reason. Still better then the way the stock ones looked with one hanging higher then the other lol. Happy with the quality of these too.

they are the same length, and slightly slanted, the pictures make it look worse then it really is i guess because of the shadows. Ill probably have to tweak the one on the left with a pipe or something.

I have not seen many that are perfect, to be honest most look similar to this. That kinda concerns me as to why most are like that with aftermarket tips. My factory tips are perfect, when I do it they gotta be right. ****** tips are the toughest piece of the exhaust puzzle, 3 inchers cost a left nut.I have looked at 1000's trying to find just the right one in 3 inch.I think you have to adjust both really.

Use 3/8ths fuel line around the tip for symmetrical perfect as possible results
