Hey folks,

Is there any issue with the TB clearing if you don't have Brian's adapter?
I'm getting ready to install both mods and would like to minimize any fitment issues.

It looks like I can unbolt the heat shield from the Thorley's to gain additional clearance.

Do exactly that and you should have enough clearance.

Does anyone have a length of intermediate pipe I can have prefabricated from the header outlet to the mandrel exhaust systems 3" catback?

What is the exhaust system you will be using? Something similar to this?

Exactly that (3 inch version with 14 inch resonator)

I don't own it, but in my opinion that is an awesome looking exhaust but will be very loud without a resonator. If you were to add one at the front you would have the extra piece you are looking for I would think.

I picked this up on eBay a few months ago for under 30 bucks, just in case I ever get around to modifying my car. Not sure how much it will quiet it, but its a high quality piece.

The kit I ordered comes with a magnaflow res actually.
I think I need to have an intermediate pipe between the catback and header downpipe.

i wouldnt presume that its the same length as yours is because my exhaust is entirely custom built

Your thinking to much about it. In all seriousness. Do your headers then go drive to the exhaust shop.

Was that a custom kit? I have not seen it with a resonator. The kit I posted has no resonator included, so if it is the same you should have an extra piece of straight pipe. Are you running a cat?

I will be running a CAT. I suppose I may as well just run to a shop when ready lol
