What brand(quality) when buying lca’s
 

ALL control arms are built with the same exact measurements from each of the three(or 4 depending on your sway bar mounting design) mounting points. With this in mind, a lower control arm then is not really a part that can be "upgraded" by changing say... its shape.

Changing the material they are made from however in order to reduce a few pounds of weight is theoretically a direction one could go, but then again I don't see the cost benefit paying off even in that case.

The only thing you can do to these stock design control arms in order to possibly actually benefit on a measurable level would be to focus on the bushings you use... which to my knowledge MOOG is the only one in this space right now.

IF you want a different look you could go to the ZZP website and buy their Tubular design ones... but in my opinion its not really a worthy direction to spend money on your platform.

I just replaced both mine recently... just bought A/C Delco and thy will probably out live the car... failure rate on a control arm is very very low.

One thing I did that looks cool cleaner on the STOCK design is that I cut the ABS wire an threaded it though the holes on the LCA so the wire is more or less unexposed to the elements as it is inside the LCA... it looks clean.
