06 GXP transmission rattle in 3rd gear I have an 06 Grand prix GXP 5.3L when the car is in 3rd gear I hear a rattle almost like a CV joint does when its going bad (the clicking/ticking sound). Seems make this sound only in 3rd gear. When the car shifts either normal or tap shift out of 3rd gear the noise goes away instantly.
