Ws6store/RPMSpeed LS4 parts!!!

We are now offering the NEW Texas Speed and Performance LS4 fastFWD cams along with new Circle D 4t65 fwd converters!!

Cams are the
fastFWD LL - fastFWD low lift 216/224 .550/.550 111lsa std but up to 114lsa

fastFWD HL - fastFWD high lift 216/225 .600/.600 111lsa std but up to 114lsa

fastFWD V2 - the V2 is the bigger of the 3 at a 226/235 .600/.600 111lsa std but avail up to 114lsa

Either are great with boost, nitrous, or NA.

They are also very close in spec to our High Lift Hot Cam (218/227 112lsa) and high lift asa (226/236 110lsa) so we actually offer 5 cams that work VERY well for the ls4 fwd cars or swaps. Our 2 signature cams are ground on our proprietary lobes by Texas Speed and Performance also to give you the best quality most consistent and precise cams available!

Cams are $389

The High Lift Hot Cam, fastfwd LL and HL will work with factory converter. The High Lift ASA and fastfwd V2 will need a 3000+

so everything you need for a cam swap is just under $900? what pac springs come with the kit 1219x an option? i assume just standard lifters come with. whats difference in powerbands between the fwd cams and changing lsa? sorry for all the questions just curious for summer fun

They are designed for one lsa really.
We have the 1218 or 1219 std but 1219x as an upgrade for $40 extra.
They use ls7 lifers. we can upgrade those if needed.
Running a wider lsa is not necessary on the std fastfwd and the v2 would need a wider lsa only for boost.
Our high lift hot cam and asa cam only come with 1 lsa also.

awesome, ill keep this stuff in mind. are any of the fwd cams being run right now? i remember seeing somewhere that texas speed had ls4 stuff in the works but can't remember where

Not sure.

So how would the stage 1 ls4 cam stack up against let's say a tr220? I'm assuming the extra duration on the exhaust side helps with our sh** exhaust manifolds and exhaust in general to hang on a bit longer? I'm setting up to do a full engine rebuild in the spring and would like to test the waters on one of these cams, just not sure on what would work best. Will have an ls6 manifold, downpipe and possibly headers, and will have forged I-beams and 4340 bolts with forged pistons as well. Trans is also built, just going to change to 3.69 gears and will go with higher stall in the future. Probably overkill with forged parts but I got amazing prices compared with stock parts so I figured I may as well coin up so I'd have the headroom for 6500+ revs

The HL and our high lift hot cam would both make quite a bit more power and extend the rpm range vs our tr220. Much better lobes on both with our hot cam winning out there.

Wow just in time! I've been wanting to replace these lifters that tick on cold starts before the motor gets wrecked!
What are the acceptable rpm limits of the stock bottom end LS4?
I wonder if the 4t65 can withstand those RPM's?

Is the LS4 oil pump good to reuse when doing a cam DOD delete?

tech@WS6store 03-20-2019 09:33 PM

Oil pump is fine.
The smaller cams will top our around 6300 to 6400 which is a good rpm. No issues there.
