Default Have a look under my gal's "skirt" (No 56K!)

I just finished installing the K&N CAI and "dressing up" my engine bay this past weekend, so I thought I would mark my 100th post by showing it off. And with all this exhaust talk going on lately, I thought I would post a few clips of how she sounds, inside and out. Hope you like!

Looking at those pictures (looks good by the way) just makes me wish GM had made a slightly longer hood and not mounted the engine sideways. I would think that would open a lot of doors for some more bolt-ins (I would think).

So Doc - you recommend the front and rear strut tower braces for a guy that likes to zig-zag?

Bang for the buck factor, 1 - 10?

Yes and no. It causes the windshield side of the hood to bulge out a wee bit. At first it bothered me a bit (the thought of it) but after driving around for 2+ weeks, I've had no problems with it. I have heard of one 2007 owner who installed it and didn't have this issue, so you might be okay, Eddie.

Here you go. Remember, these are close up shots, so it's really not as noticeable as some of these pics make it out to be. I'm usually considered a picky person and it doesn't really bother me very much, plus the handling benefit that is gained is definitely worth it in my book. And yes, the front does provide a noticeable difference (not as much as the rear, but I definitely noticed it). I drove around with just the front for 2 days just to make sure there was a difference, in case the bulge bothered me too much and I decided to get rid of it.
