Default HPTuner ?

Ok after all the bad stuff I hear about Diablo, you guys have convinced me to get the HPTuner software. Now I have 1 question, whats the difference between the regular package and the professional package. Also before I order it can someone with one of them already tell me if i need to order any of the other stuff they sell you along with it? Thanks for the info guys!

from my understanding....the difference in the base model vs the pro is the ability to log with a wideband o2 sensor easily? the normal model comes with physical connections, scanning/tuning software, and 8 credits.....which will get you going. someone please correct me if im wrong.

The difference between pro and standard is that with pro you have the capibility to do standalone dataloging. Also you have additional inputs for things like a wideband. With the standard version, you must have your laptop connected in the car to do any logging.

I have the pro version, and the standalone data logging is nice because I don't always have to lug around/worry about a laptop being stolen from my front seat....

So what about the other stuff they sell you when you are about to buy the tuner? Should i buy any of it ? just want to make sure I dont order the wrong things and not end up being able to tune my car RIGHT when i get the software lol. I'm inpatient when i get my things. Well again many thanks guys, oh also once i get it you can expect many questions from me. I'm good with Computers but not car computers !

What other stuff are you talking about? Are you looking to get the standard or pro?

All you need then is the VCM suite standard. $499.

As stated the only differences are the ability to datalog without a laptop in the vehicle as well as the added inputs/outputs with the pro version.

Both std & pro pricing comes with everything you need to get up and running.
