DOD on a 3800? WTF?
I'm posting here because since I'm turbo, it cost alot in gas. I've try to shut the front bank cylinder with my tuner and the car run great. No jerking!!! So today, I've put on each injector (front bank) a small relay. When I flip the switch, the car runs on 3 cylinders. With the tuner, cruising at 35mph 2000rpm, I've notice that my PW are 80% smaller!!!!! On idle, 68%!!!! That looks a good way to save fuel, by running on 3 cylinders when cruising and Idling.
What do you guys think? Any possible downside? I'll try to do a real test, not base on PW to see If I actually see a fuel economy in everyday driving!
