I'm very intereseted in the short block. Can you take pics of the front of it were the year is stamped in it? It has a circle around it. It will show "00" for 2000 or "01" for a 2001. It's under the front cover on left side of the block.

I'm will to pay the shipping cost if you can do that for me.

Also take a few pics of the block #'s behind the left head. Were most GM block #'s are.

Actually, I heard that 5 to 10% of F body's in 01 had them. And as much as 10 to 20% of them in 02. I read that somewere.
There was a over run number of production ls6 blocks around that time.
