Sorry guys, I have been pretty sick and out of work for the last 3 weeks. I will be taking it out this sunday... got a little race lined up with a TBSS that run's 7.9's @ 88mph so it should be close. I will post video if possible.

Well I made two passes tonight... first pass was right off the street. 8.190 @ 89pm w/ a 2.0 60'
Second pass was a 7.923 @82mph w/ a 1.81 60'. I had to get out of it way before the traps due to the car not shifting out of second. I think it would have been a 7.6x pass if it would have shifted. I ended up seeing 7k rpm or so and hurt the car... which I will make another thread about here shortly...

you guys saying he has crappy dyno numbers have to realize:
1) ITS AN AUTOMATIC WITH A BIG STALL
2) as for torque #s, the graph is starting way after torque peak.
330 through an auto would probably be around 350 through a 6 speed, which is about on par with what a cc306 should make.
just a reduction in 60 foot to a 1.6x would drop your ET close to a 7.70.
also what do you have your rev limiter set at?

it's an auto and sounds about right, my cc503/stock heads auto with midlegnths only made 325rwhp but had no problem running with cars making at or around 350rwhp in a t56

Local tracks are opening back up at the end of Feb... should have some new times soon! I am also looking at shooting it. Once I get the fuel system the way I want it, I will put the 200 pills and let it eat.

oh yes and you also need to go to the VSS rpm settings and set it to about 4000rpm
I'm not a big fan of on this particular subject, considering how much stress it caused me in the past I'd like to help anyone I can with this issue because I know how much of a PITA it is and pretty much zero tuners outside pcmforless and madz know how to fix it

I originally thought the car was hurt, after making my 7.9x @ 82mph pass in second gear. It ended up being a blown header gasket, thankfully it was something minor. The sound was unlike any exhaust leak I had ever heard. Actually, here is the video:

I actually spent some time on the car this weekend considering I want to race next weekend. I installed a spare 3.5in aluminum drive shaft and mocked up my Jegster DS loop. All I need to do is pull the seats out and drill the floor in order to finish up the install. I also attempted to unhook the sway bar end links, but had to remove it all together since the stock links broke. I will just replace them with some energy suspension pieces when I put the street trim back on.
I also ordered the summit brand 3way adjustable drag shocks today, they should be install on Thursday, work permitting. You really can't beat the $80 bucks shipped for a relabeled Competition Engineering piece. I also have a set of BMR SFC's that will be going on at the end of the week. The next thing I plan on doing is a set of relocation brackets with the stock arms... I figure they will help hit the tires harder and that I don't need aftermarket arms at this power level.
Basically, I have decided not to throw anymore power at it until I get it hooking up. I think I can knock a substantial number off of my ET with some basic suspension upgrades. After this I will need to bite the bullet and do a chassis mount TQ arm and some coil overs up front.

not much tq.
you can check conv. slippage on dyno..... I say 6800 is shifting it way to high also....
before your worry about hp look at the tq vs. rpm/gearing time spent in rpm band vs. tq etc.
thats where your missing it.
from that graph I dont see 7.70s thats a long long ways. 4 tenths in the 8th....long ways

My car dynoed 330 unlocked with the cc503 cam and has gone 7.57 @ 87 in the 1/8th. If you could get the 60ft down it would run a lot better. On my 7.57 pass I went 1.54 to the 60ft.
