Got a new best for E.T. and 60'. Rears were set on 50/50, fronts were set on 4 and 17psi in the Hoosiers.

Went 7.649 w/ a 1.663 60' MPH was not working. The second pass was a 1.655 60'. This was leaving around 1500rpm. I did not want to leave off idle since my DS loop did not get installed.
And yes, that is me giving the g8 the back tire and still getting gapped in my uncles Monte at the end.

Zmax is about 3 1/2 hours from me, I would love to make it out sometime. I will be going to Dorchester Dragway, which is about 40 miles outside of Charleston.

I agree w/the guys who say the dyno is only a tuning tool. My 96 T/A went 11.40 w/ a dyno of 364 rwhp. The same car now runs 9.67 w/a dyno number of 480 rwhp. If I can suggest anything it would be to make sure your a/f ratio is correct, your shift points are good, and your power and torque curve is broad. Also, it is important where your car is making power.

A/F was dead on, which surprised me for a mail order. I am curious as to whats left on the table when it comes to timing. The car has 11:1 pistons with thin gaskets so the tune was on the safe side.

Would I benefit from spinning it that high with the stock heads? It seems to fall off early in that graph. I do need to make my way up there and get this thing in the .40's with stock heads.

What was your MPH again? I know the cam likes to be spun. I guess I could make it shift around 6900 and see if it picks up, it just seems to fall off around 6450 on the dyno... but I don't remember if that was due to the limiter being set low or what.

Went out tonight and messed around some. The car didn't seem to like the track much... spun bad on two passes. Best pass of the night was a 7.819 @ 89mph w/ a 1.690 60'. I'm going to shift the car around 6900 next time out... just need my new AKM cable to arrive.

Video of said run. Looks like I need to adjust the suspension a little more.
