You have to think of the nitrous guys in that class too. We are limiting them to a single nozzle or plate system which the max that most can spray with that is a 200 shot.

We will see how many hybrids and transplant cars come out of the woods now! You will still mop up that class no matter who shows up! I will be ready for ya! I plan on running two classes.

i think all the rules r quite fair but for the tires in the power adder street class the sizes r lik 275, 255, and 315 this mean no bias ply drag radial lik the quick time pro of 28x9.5?

I think you may get more entries in that class if you open it up to 70mm. I don't know many LT1 guys that run a 66mm turbo or less unless they have a base STS kit (T-60) or base TTi street kit (T-60). Those setups are limited to ~450-500rwhp with that turbo. Even the upgraded STS T67 turbo is considered too big for that class, and we all know it won't keep up with most of S/C'd and nitrous cars in the class.

I will keep that in mind and discuss with the others.

I need to discuss this further. The extreme street class is just that....a street class. It was meant to be a radial class only. I will get back with you.

I am sure it should be 275/40/17 may be a typo. With the bias ply....read the post above.

Extreme Street P/A has been changed to a 70mm max. Remember guys the limit will still be stock pcm, stock intake, opti spark,.........etc.

It may be possible but we're trying to attract the "real" street car for this class and allowing a bias ply will probably discourage others who are on a true radial. It may help 6-speed and auto cars but I wouldn't venture to say it's needed in either case.

Well crap. I wish that I were going this year. It looks like it will be fairly difficult with the modified rules. Playing field looks like it will be fairly even.

Should be an event at any Ltx shootout.
