Default I think I figured out why I couldn't launch my car

This clutch only had 30K miles on it tops too. I still can't believe how bad it is.

And the replacement

The flywheel doesn't have any effect on clutch engagement/disengagement issues.

I have an adjustable master cylinder so I'm sure I wont run into any disengagement issues.

I used spec billet steel flywheel with the HD I'm pretty sure ram only made aluminum flywheels for lt1's.. I like the HD it grabs well, takes some getting used to at first though. What clutch were you running OP?

Changing clutches on an F-body sure is fun. =)

Glad to see you are making progress.

Not too many launches, maybe 25 passes at the track on nittos. This clutch could never take any amount of heat so a quick release was all it ever saw, the best 60 ft was 1.9x

Quick Reply: I think I figured out why I couldn't launch my car
