Anyone have Deskto Dyno etc? Looking at how my Build might turn out
Ok so I have been trying to find my copy of Desktop Dyno and I have no clue where it went. I would obviously need help with it anyway so I tried asking here but obviously did it wrong.
Either way I would like to see what this motor might be doing when were done possibly by this weekend. I plan on hitting the dyno either way but that excitement of almost being done and free time at night leaves me wondering lol.
So here is what we did:
Comp XE Cam 227/233 112 LSA
Still using my Ported LT4 Heads
Impala .028 Head Gaskets
11.1:1 Pistons (With the LT4 Heads comes out to 10.88:1, with the head gaskets should be around 11.6:1)
LT1 350 Block taken to 355
Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
4.10 Gears
SLP Maf
Double Roller Timing Chain
Stud Kit of course
MSD Opti Brand New (Since it had to be redone completely by MSD... seems flaws were found in early models)
Better Valve Springs
As well as quite a few other little extra's.
Tuning is obviously being redone. I am working with another board member on doing the LSX ECU Conversion. (If anyone has a decent opti Bottom I need it, I will be selling my MSD obviously now with the LSX Swap over. I already bought the ECU, Coils etc so it will def be rather quick.)
I will post pics of the build shortly and the progress we made today. Should be quite nice I hope.
My goal was a 12 second car at 3200ft that could handle the Route 66 Cruise no problem.

Well running those heads on a stock Bottom end with the LT4 hotcam and LT4Intake and full exhaust etc. (She also had a bad MSD Opti giving out at 4100RPM and was running 8:1 Air Fuel as well as blowing out oil... bad rings on the rebuild of the bottom end less then 2500miles prior by the other owner) she made 323Ftrq at 3100RPM. I hope I seem a little more then 340 now after all this with her tuned right.
