What I was implying was, you should see another 15 or so hp gain going with the LT's over a shorty header.. I picked up almost 27rwh with my Mac mid tubes over the stock manifolds

damn thats a lot more power than i was expecting from headers. im not really good with this stuff so i'll probably just go with the mid tubes from what i have heard about how difficuly it is to install the long tubes im working in a garage with hand tools and no heat in minnesota.

get yourself a propane or kerosine torpedo heater for your garage. crank it up and be nice and toasty while you work. hell i heated up my old garage with a propane grill once

haha i was thinking about getting a little electric heater from fleet farm or something like that.

Well if you are set on mids then you should look into the Macs. Really nice header and I got great performance out of them.
