Couple questions, victor intake and trac control
car is a 94 z28
question one.
im on my 2nd opti in less than 500 miles. and want to do the victor intake and distributor swap. so far i think i have everything.
victor jr efi intake
860 elbow and 90mm throttle body
Crank trigger distributor
crank trigger
new plug wires
fuel rail's and injectors.
plug hole in timing cover from opti
also what has to be done to the stock pcm?
im thinking about just going to the mega-squirt system
also i pulled into my driveway today and i lost all power and a trac control light came on. once it went out i regained power. My question is there anyway to make this selective

i'm not 100% sure you can run a crank trigger and crank trigger dist with a stock PCM?!?!?!? if you can i've never done it and wouldnt even know where to start....
it's gonna be some serious heavy duty wiring.... and how is your pcm going to be able to retard timing when it feels the need????? it can't come out and turn the dist.....
i converted to a FAST XFI standalone with my crank trigger and MSD distributor as well with a victor intake... but using the stock pcm was never a thought so i just sold it on ebay.... sorry i can't help more....

Or you might check cam pin length and the vent harness so the stock opti lasts.
There are enough of us out there with stock optis working just fine that it is not the source of your problem. You are attempting to spend a couple grand and create countless problems to resolve a minor one.
