Pulling crankshaft sprocket and waterpump drive.
Ok so, I got off the camshaft sprocket and took out the two bolts on the wp drive but now I can't get the wp drive nor the crankshaft sprocket off. I have a 3-jaw puller on the crankshaft sprocket with a bolt in place and a socket for the puller to rest against. I put the car in gear so it wouldn't rotate and interfere with the valves but even with an impact gun on the highest setting going forward it barely budged and now won't move. I put a thick coat of PB blaster on it just now and I'm gonna try it again in the morning but it just doesn't want to move. Any ideas? Does the wp drive require some special puller to remove it? I'm stuck.

the crank sprocket should pop right off, I am assuming you have the cam sprocket off I hope, as for the water pump drive I just removed the retainer screws and used a brass punch to drive it out of the block from the valley

It definitely feels like it's frozen on there so I coated it in PB blaster. The retainer came off easily like you guys are saying but this one just doesn't wanna move. Yes I do have the cam sprocket and the chain off the only thing on there is the crank sprocket itself. I'd like to not have to remove the intake manifold for the wp drive b/c I'm supremely broke and don't really have enough money to get this thing moving if I have to replace any more gaskets/whatever.
I may just have to borrow some Burnz-O-matic and heat it up.

I just removed my crank sprocket yesterday with a 3 jaw puller rented from advance auto. It was on there pretty good. Everytime I would pull on it after about 10 seconds one of the jaws would fall off from behind the sprocket and I would have to start over. On the 4th try it finally came off. You just have to keep at it, make sure the everything is centered and the jaws are evenly spaced for equal pressure. To me the hub was harder to pull off.

Well crap, went to like 3 different places and no one has anything like that. Looks like the intake manifold will have to come off. On another note a guy told me that the crank sprockets normally get frozen on there and the most guys take a chisel and just break it between the teeth, does that sounds feasible?

A two jaw puller might actually be easier to hold on there and get to where it will pull straight off. You can always rap the face of the gear with a hammer. The vibrations may cause it to snap free. I just have never had one that would not come off.

The part that attaches to the timing chain and actually drives the waterpump. Buffman posted a pic of the puller, but I don't have access to any kent moore stuff so I'm looking for a suitable puller.

Well I'm trying to take off the thing that is pressed into the block and meshes with the back of the timing chain, it has a gear on it with alot of teeth that mesh into the gear on the back of the timing chain.
Edit: and EWwwww you put Fram on your car!
