Default any products out there to protect sparkplug wires?

every since I installed my LT headers on my bastard LT1 I have been a little paranoid that my sparkplug wires may melt and cause problems. Is there any products out there that I can buy to slip over them to give protection?

I have used zip ties and while it kind of worked I want to make sure they are safe. I have also tried thermal tape but the tape doesn't stick for more than a week of normal driving.

I was wondering if there was anything like these http://cableorganizer.com/wire-loom/colored.html but protect against heat?

any advice on some products?
thanks

I know just how you feel man, its a pain to change the wires. I too was paranoid, so I bought these:

They work great so far, I use them with my duralast wires and Pacesetter headers. Some of the wires are close, but with these, they should live a long time.

Thunder racing sells fire sleeves. I use the Taylor ones that are rated to 1200 degrees.

I need to get me some, I just lost my first wire within a week.... luckily it happened 500 ft. from my brothers house on the way to the track instead of a little bit later... I limped it back.

There's lots of stuff, from the common factory braided wire sleeves, to braided metal sleeves, sheet metal boot covers. Then you get into the higher dollar stuff (braided metal may be up there) like the woven fiber glass and I wouldn't doubt there being woven carbon fiber sleeves either.

These are good deals I think, for a bulk buy (unsure how much one would need for full length of the wire, unless you only want to do partials)

EDIT: Speaking of which, if anyone knows where to get that standard black braided sleeves (I think they're higher heat resistant nylon, as they can get rock hard when over-heated like plastic) in different sizes, if you could PM with a location that'd be awesome I'm looking to use it on an non-automotive project, but I don't need really big ID, 1/4" would be the biggest.

DEI protect-a-boots. Get the ones for 90* boots and never replace burnt plug wires again.
