Need some advice
id say if he could get the intake proted and polished put a twin 52mm throttle bodie on there get that ported and polished, with a nice exaust he might be doing ok, but then again im just a newbie at this, so ill let the guys with the know how duke it out.

There's people out there that just will not change their mind on things because they're certain it's the best thing out there. I think I'll dub that Ricer/Mustang Syndrome! They all tend to think their little cars are hot rods, or that their Mustang is the fastest thing on 4 wheels, and all of us know that it really isn't the case! How many of us have stomped a ricer or 'stang? Don't worry about answering, it was a rhetorical question lol But that's the point, we all have on countless occasions. Hell, I beat an S2000 in my 91 350 TPI that was 97% stock with basically just the same mods in my sig (minus injectors and CAI), he was cool though and waved and nodded as he drove by
There'll be a time when his ego will backfire horribly, and I hope you're there to throw it back in his face like he's been doing to you

You know what that means right? You just have to get the Budget LE1 package that is I think sub $1K, and beat his $3K package. Make sure to record it all and get the look on his face when you beat him and tell him how much you paid. Which, you don't tell him how much it is till it's on the car and you've raced. Just tell him it was $4200 lol If he DOES win, and tries to throw it back in your face, then all you have to do is say "Notice by how little you beat me? Well, I have a secret... My kit only ran $xxx!" Then show him the receipt
