Blacked out? What do you guys think?
I am thinking of blacking out my camaro's side markers, taillights, third brake light and then the front corners? What do you guys think? I will have some pics below to see if you guys think they would look good. All comments are welcomed and appericated. I will be lowering it soon with Koni 4/4 and then Sam Strano sport springs.

black out everything EXCEPT the headlights and taillights.
it will look good if you take your time.
on mine i did the third brakelight, side markers on the rear. i left everything else the way it was.
tinted tails is likely to get you pulled over whereas the third breaklight and markers probably wont get you pulled over as likely.

depends on what kind of look ur going for. if you want a more agressive racer look ya black it out. if you want a show car look dont black it out and put a grill, clear corner lights, and keep the chrome.
take a look at my car here is a link

Thanks guys i want the racer look but I do show my car. I need to buy the taillight covers, third brake light cover, side covers, then front corners. Is there anyway you guys could photoshop my pics so I can see what it would look like blacked out and then with the clear. I really like the agressive look and I kinda wanted that since I am lowering it as well with some koni 4/4 and Sam Strano Sport Springs 1.2 in drop. I don't need to worry about being pulled over I live in Lincoln, Nebraska and cops have never bothered me one bit. More input on this decision is welcomed. If no one can photoshop my pics could someone post some pics of cars like mine that are blacked out. I have the THEME of black and chrome since I got the badges in chrome, wheels and letter fill in's I just really think blacking it out would bring that CHROME accessories to life more? Whats your guys thoughts???
Thanks,
Devin

go with both vht and covers
I vht'd the rear corners/3rd brake light and my rears and front corners are using covers. If I do not feel like attracting to much attention (ie. going to work), I take the covers off, but if I feel like showing off or just feel like looking a little meaner, I keep the covers on. They literally only take a couple seconds to take on/off and I keep them under my seat.
Make sure you good use covers such as the gto's. I bought a set of gto's after some ebay one's and the gto's fit/form to the lights way better. Another thing is that they are also a better color and more translucent when the lights are on.

Does the GTO covers brand have the logo on there? Could I sand the logo off? Taste Good are your front corners actually the light cover it's self?? Taste Good what are your thoughts on going covers all the way around? Like the rear side markers I can get ebay covers along with the front for 60 bucks. I would like something that I could change anything at any time. I called my local auto parts stores and they DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT VHT IS!!!!!! I only drive my car on the weekends since currently I am a college student and I won't let it sit outside all day.
