Default how did are lt1 xpipe true dual set ups than ls1?

botched the title:

How different are lt1 xpipe true dual setups than ls1 set-ups?

this is an ls1: See how the front of the setup bends to meet the driver side

The reason I ask, is because, I was thinking about getting a universal Pypes xpipe kit, and they obviously don't have that bend. I was just wondering how much customization the pypes xpipe kit would need.

and also, how would it be to get the pypes "mounts in drive shaft tunnel" kit?

so is it pretty much just straight ends to meet the headers? Or is there a little bending to meet the headers?

a slight amount of bending will get the job done.

Mine are pretty much straight back from the headers unlike the LS1 setups.

both of those set ups look nice.. any exhaust shop can bend some piping for you if it comes to that..

My x-pipe setup was intended for an LS1. Here's what I changed. The first pic has a part circled... that is the extra piece the exhaust shop made for it to work.

You'll just need a short piece of 3" pipe with a flare to fit over your collector.
That is, assuming you are not running flanged headers.

So its safe to say, if TSP supplied a right side pipe instead of the two normal left side pipe, that it would work perfect for an LT1 car?

Looks like the rumbler would prolly be extremely close if you have Kooks headers, they kick out 15*. I had Spintech bend me the piece that I needed to work with my headers.
