My duals scrape on speedbumps, some dips in the road, etc. Its all worth it!

2.5" h-pipe, Dynomax bullets dumped.

I'd probably scrape less if I didn't have to dip down to get under the SLP subframe connectors.

Xpipe setup with bullets dumped. I'd say its loud all around but, its more of a low rumble at idle. Definitely turns heads and gets folks smiling and giving the thumbs up. It gets ridiculous loud at higher rpms. The video was made when the motor was all stock with the exception of the CAI and exhaust.

Oh, and I dont have many problems at all with clearances,.. now. Then again, I have hit things in the past and am just very conscious of what I can get over and typically avoid what I cannot

coated Pacesetters (no emissions) and TSP X rumbler setup for an LS1 (modified to fit). The xpipe setup comes in pieces but, I had it all welded at all the joint only leaving the two slip fits for where it meets the headers (got stepped band clamps on those).

Some photos and explanations in these threads, as well as other peoples setups :

how did are lt1 xpipe true dual set ups than ls1?

Awesome, I have better clearance than I did with my Y-Pipe. Turndowns are really low tho but everything else is tucked up great.

I'm running an X w/ Bullets and it sounds nasty. Basically like Nascar at WOT.

Thats my exact set up and I love it, Im never going back to a ory set up. You might want to get an exhaust shop to try to tuck it up more, Im stock height and never scrape

Mine scrape b/c they are under the rear seats but my car is also lowered a lil bit, 4" tall case btw.

Exactly what I've contimplated doing, sideways like the factory muffler was. I just haven't decided if I'm gonna stay with what I have or change over to the free flowing Dynomax bullets, I'd like to use some new welded Ultraflows but as we all know space is a factor.

Youtube my man, Youtube, there's a GTO on there that prolly gives the clearest sound of what they sound like, I can hardly tell the difference between it & my car, it's a silver 05 with Kooks headers.

Here check out one of my other vids: clearance shot about 1:30 in.

You can see where I dipped them down to clear the SLP subframe connectors. I'll go look and edit if I think the pipes would clear a tunnel torque arm on the sides as I'm running the adj. spohn or if you would still need the dip to get under the mount.
