Default Cruise control in the way of cold air intake?

Is this cruise control module going to be in the way of installing a K&N cold air intake?

I don't know what the sensor thingy is, but it might just slide over to the right just enough to be out of the way. Do you have cruise control?

yes it will be in the way. the cruise control thing SHOULD be bolted up to the frame in that part of the car. looks like its sitting upside down from your picture. There should be enough room in that space to move it out of the way. Is there even a cable attatched to it leading to the throttle body?

I think there is a cable attached to the throttle body, but where will I have to move it to get it out of the way? Will I just have to remount it in a different spot?

normally its mounted(in reference to your picture) to the left slightly. it even looks like someone re routed the wiring harness to the box. it should be under the car kind of hidden. its definitaly been messed with by someone.

its fairly easy to get in that spot by removing the front tire and then removing the plastic splash shield. that whole space will be opened up then

Badazz is right, that's not in the stock location. The K&N is not going to fit with that there either.

Do you think I can move it, or do you think that someone else already moved it and there are holes to move it back to the stock place?

Thanks for all of the quick replies. I will have to get under there and check it out soon. hopefully holes are already there so I don't have to drill any. I think the guy that owned the car before me was a little off. He thought he was a mechanic and everything but he seemed to cobble everything up. Even my fuel system has been messed with. Who knows what else is in the wrong place. Oh well, its still a fun car.

k&n includes sticky tape so you can mount it elsewhere

The cruise controle box should be held with 2 bolts to the frame horn. Basically 90 degrees from where it is now.
