Crank Bolt stuck

So I was dropping in a cam in my LT1, was spinning the motor with Pully bolt, and now it wont budge... Its stuck beyond belief.. I have a ARP bolt in there and with a breaker bar wont budge, with Air gun 120PSI wont budge... So I ended up dropping motor out bottom( Very easy I found out, i will always do it this way...) anyways, I have the long block out with everything off...and was curious, will a good machine shop be able to get it out?? Thanks for any help

youre trying to back the bolt out now???? it should definitely come out easily with the impact. i dunno, maybe you cross threaded it in there ??? try a bigger breaker bar with a pipe on the end as an extention.... machine shops gonna do the same thing more than likely

I second the impact gun. Might take a few minutes of pounding but it should eventually loosen. The OEM bolt is hardened and should take a beating. You can try heating it - that might help.

I would stay away from the impact gun. If it's that stuck then it will just beat the shit out of the bolt head or the socket.
If your flywheel is off then I'd bolt it back on and stick a screwdriver through one of the holes in the flywheel and let it catch on the block and use a cheater bar on the crank bolt. Make sure to use a six point socket.

another leverage trick is to use the box end of a big wrench and slip it over the breaker bar handle

or use a brazing torch or soder torch and get hot, not to hot, but hot.then try the impact gun

24" breaker bar and the right 6 point socket. Never had a bolt that I could remove...providing that I had enough room to properly use the breaker bar.
