Does AC Delco Make Decent Opti's?

I'm in need of an Opti, found a guy with a low mileage AC Delco unit but I'm weary because its not a GM/Delphi.

Is there anything to be worried about with these? Anyone have any experience using AC Delco Units?

Thanks.

Both actually. At first the OEM parts were made by AC Delco, later they were made by Delphi. Both are quality oem parts. You can't go wrong with either.
OP - I would suggest removing the cap of the opti and thread locking the rotor screws.

Like the other person said, A/C Delco is Delphi and vice a versa. I have found that no matter who makes an opti, it can fail. I had to walk twice last year, once with a Cardone reman and once with a A/C Delco unit. Goes to show that anyone can have bad parts!!! I decided to get rid of it all 'cause I got tired of walking!!!

Yep! Just make sure it's not an eBay "Remanufactured" unit unless it's by Thepartsladi (or something to that extent).

Also avoid Accel opti stuff like the plague, in case yo are planning to buy just the Optispark w/o cap and rotor (not sure if they even sell it that way).
