So the other day I decided that I had tried everything but the optispark, the car would only idle for 10-20 seconds and then cut off. I had a spare opti that was brand new, so I decided what the hell a couple hours work I'll go ahead and put it on. So I got it on the car finally runs after a few months of trouble shooting! Extremely happy with the everything right now, I just need some gears and a damn good tune but I thought I would post up an idle video of it...

wow sounds great,,love it....that cam is like 2 degrees bigger in the intake than the gm847, so whats ur top/bottom end setup like ?

The bottom end if just the stock crank and has been turned 30 thousands, recondition rods, with .30 over srp Pistons, heads are stock for now but I'm having a set ported as we speak.

Naw its not an LE cam, its a comp grind.

Naw man I didn't hear you come by. shitty thing is I took it out last night ran great for a while, oil pressure dropped a little brought it back home come to find its leaking oil, either the rear main seal or its coming out of the dipstick hole and making its way to where the rear main seal would be. when I was driving it and pulled it in nuetral it would idle fine, but as soon as I came to a complete stop it would try to die on me. I remember cracky telling me he tuned it for a cam on a 111 LSA and that it might have idling issues. so I guess I need to find that oil leak and get it tuned again.

Sounds sweet. Glad your troubleshooting is over. You'll be happy once those ported heads really wake up the car with that cam.

if you want we can hook it up and see if i can help ya out on the tune. at least get it drivable so you can take it to a dyno and get tuned. just let me know
