are 6's possible

so far i have ran 7.34@92 with a 1.54 60ft. my set-up is a 3200 stall, 1.6rr,cai, foil, pulleys, 3.42's, pcm4less tune, duel turn downs, lca, comp. eng rear shocks, ls1 d.s., plus a 125 wet kit. im still on 16x8s with mt dr's. race weight is 3450. what more can i do without changing the cam heads or intake to get in the 6's... thanks

Few things:
-up your shot
-1.7 rr's
-EWP
-weight reduction.

No idea if that can drop your ET by .34 though.

Yes, you can drop .34 and get into the 6s without touching your heads/cam intake - especially if streetability is not a concern.

3.73 gears or higher depending on your tire size and rpms at the end of the run, bigger shot of nitrous, weight reduction, skinnies up front, better weather, misc stuff like posted(EWP, tstat, etc), front drag shocks and a "suspension tune", etc. Just because you are not messing with engine internals does not mean it will be cheap though!!

Upping the shot by 25-50hp and getting a bigger converter would probably get you into the 6s. Maybe you can improve the 60' some too

went to the track yesterday on a 150 shot. it didnt break but it didnt run worth a crap. the track was horrible.the best 60 ft i could cut was 1 1.78 on motor. it was a 1/4 mile track and it ran 11.81@120 with a 1.88 60ft... previous best there was a 11.81@113 on 100shot with a 1.58 60ft

Sounds like you may need to do some adjusting on the suspention or play with tire pressure NOW that you've upped the HP, shure the track might have been weak, but you have increased HP, if you get that 60ft. back to where it was before, i'll be the 1st. to guess your ETs, then see how close we come :D. heres mine.

1.55 too 1.58 60ft. 7.13/7.15 1/8 @ 95-96 MPH
11.teens somewhere.................1/4
Might even hit 11.0s :chug:
