Default What times should i be expecting on my 383?

ok im going with a 383 stroker with steel crank, h beams, forged pistons (not sure wat kind ima go with yet) single plane super victor intake, 210cc afr heads ported by ai, DRE shaft rockers, hydrolic rollers, planning on 90mm throttle body but might go with a 80mm, and thinking a le 230-236 cam. and really hoping for a low 11's if not in the 10's car with me driving my 6 speed. do you guys think i can get there?

Have you called AI and asked them about porting your AFR's? I dont' think they port those.

Maybe not. I know they don't list those on there website. I asked if they would port my AFR 190's and they said they would but, it was going to be pretty expensive. Should be a stout car. I have the AI 200cc stock ported heads and cam and I put 450 to the wheels through the exhaust and pulled 121mph before the tune which I picked up around 20whp peak on the dyno. That is enough to run high 10's with a 1.5-1.6 60' time. So you shouldn't have a problem reaching your goals. BTW what did your heads flow.

Combo sounds like it will make good power. With the right converter/trans & suspension I don't see why 10's wouldn't be feasible.

QA-1's are definitely an upgrade for the strip over Eibach's.
