TX_LT1_Z28

I have an extra LT1 motor laying around from my wrecked 93 Camaro Z28. It has 144,000 miles on it. Before I wrecked it, the engine had great oil pressure and ran strong. Didnt leak either. I have a 1994 Z28 LT1 with 200,000 miles. What I am wanting to do is swap out the 200K engine with the 144K. I want to freshen up the lower mileage engine and bolt a heads and cam package from AI. I really dont know much about options for intakes on LT1's other than LT4 intake. What others intakes are available for H/C LT1? Also which AI H/C do you guys prefer for a stock LT1? I already have CAI, ordered the 58MM TB, have LT with true duals. My budget right now is about $5K. So options on parts isnt limited.

AI should be able to port you intake for you and get great results, at least that is how LE does it, I'm not as familiar with AI.

For 95% of applications, the stock unported manifold will suffice.

what hp number will be likely through a A4 tranny? probably going with the AI 226/234 cam...not sure which heads though yet....tranny has a 3600 stall already...
