Track Rental Results Finally
Well, finally got to go up to the track rental day. For those of you who dont know, The car ran 14.3 @ 98 bone stock.
I wnet up hoping for anything in the 13s. I ran alot 14.1s and 14.0s but finally on the second to last run of the day I was able to get a 13.98@ 98.3 with a 2.024 60'. So I am pretty satisfied for the time being. It was by far the best rental day I have ever been to. I got in 13 runs with letting my car cool down for almost a half hour every 2-3 runs. The only thing I was dissapointed with was the 85 degree weather.. I can't wait to see what the car runs in cooler weather. I guess we will find out at the fall rental.

Yeah, the car was hooking real well. I think my best was a 1.97 with a similar setup when I had my 1994 TA, so I think it's decent. Some practice could probably drop it into the 1.95-1.99 range, but I think it's gonna take more power or a stall to hit anything lower.
Good runs, Craig, the car will definitely hit a 13.7 as is in better weather!

Ha, 13.9 @ 98. Should have bought an LS1...
But seriously, I personally think the new Nittos would have netted a slightly better 60' than those beat up ones you were running. I'm pretty sure I remember you saying you spun on a couple of the runs when you tried to launch it a little higher. If it's holding at a higher RPM without the car moving, you definitely want to be able to launch from as high as possible in that car. Next time out I'd put the new ones on there and see if it makes a difference. At least you got your 13-second pass, though.
