Default 3.42 gear

I recently installed a 3.42 posi gear out of a 6 speed car into my auto car. Now my speedo is off, which was expected. I used a hypertech tuner to retune my car but i dont like their "power tune" and there is no way to tune it for the gear without tuning everything. What speedo gear do i need? its a 95 4l60 car that came stock with a 2.73. Anybody know??

The 93s should be the only year, you can change speedo gears. I had to do the swap when I got 3.73s, much rather have your set up. If you dont like the Hypertech tune, plenty of tuners that can retune it mail order for the gears.

you can use the hypertech just for the gears select no for the power tuning and it will still take you through all the other steps like gear ratio and tire diameter selection.

I'd get a tune from MadTuner.

that would be great except that i cant figure out how to skip the power tune while tuning it. It just asks what tires you have, and what gear you have then it tunes it. If there is another way that would be great.

You have a 95, which is OBDI. Get Tunercat and the cable, and change it yourself. It is a single parameter in the tune. Be sure and put the PCM back to stock first so you can sell the HPP to cover the cost.
