LS6 block with LT1 heads???

so yesterday i was talking to my uncle and he told me his t/a has an LS6 block with LT1 top end. is that even possible. if so why in the hell would somebody do that?

i dont think it has the LS6 block at all. but i could be wrong. so what im basically asking on this thread is that is it even possible to do that?

Nope, and even if it could be done LT heads < LS heads so it would be pretty stupid, but it can't even be done so it doesn't really matter.

Sure he didn't mean LS1 heads?

Its not possible. there are so many differences between the two platforms it wouldnt even bolt up...gm had an older motor designated the ls6 but im pretty sure it was a big block. He must have gotten incorrect info from somewhere

im 100% positive he said LS6 block with LT1 top end. he told my dad that all his buddies that my friends that. wow i cant wait to embarass him hahhah.

Its a 93 t/a LT1 nothing on the car shows LS series anything ive checked everywhere

There is no such thing as .450 duration. You're not going to embarrass anyone unless you get your facts straight. Duration is measured in degree's, and cannot be greater than 360 degrees.
