This is for a friend. He has a 96 Impala SS that he is getting dyno tuned and street tuned today. He has edelbrock shorties, 52mm t/b, cai, exhaust, underdrive pullies and 3.73 gears. Any ideas on power? I told him probably around 260-270whp after the tune. He is hoping for close to 300whp but I told him that's pretty unlikely through an auto with such little mods. Any input?

not exactly sure what year impala ss this is in the article, i didnt read it, just seen the dyno.

with K&N CAI, exhaust, they seen 239 rwhp.

with the above plus hypertech power programmer they seen 250 rwhp.

i doubt the pullies and gears give him another 50 rwhp, but my guess he will see 275-280 rwhp.

Haha yeah good guess I suppose. It's an impala though, so iron heads and different cam.. Usually make less than f-bodies same mod for mod
