Car Won't Crank...Help
Car Won't Crank...Help I have a 93 355 lt1 that will not crank, and no clicking from the starter. It worked just fine before today and the starter is basically brand new. VATS is also tuned out.
I have a feeling it is the old alarm that is in the car that, since I have had it has never worked. I was working under the dashboard adjusting the accelerator cable and may have pulled something out in the process.
I got the starter to turnover by jumping the two connections with a wire. If it is the alarm I dont know where to begin

is the circuit fuse ok, possibly the relay what about starter does it push to many amps faulty solenoid bad ground possibly did work fine till you put knew starter in?is a 5 speed? You should try to determine if your starter is bad by running a jumper cable from the pos terminal of your battery to the starter solenoid. If the starter starts cranking its a good chance that it's your relay causing the problem.its not your battery?maybe ignition problem
