Percy's Header Gaskets - Why So Many In Package?

I want to make sure I'm not supposed to double these things up or something because my header gaskets came yesterday and there's abut 8 of them....what gives? It says how to install them and everything but nothing about the extra 6 gaskets.

its actually just two gaskets

its just the way their designed, hope you didn't pull them apart.

nope, it was obvious there where several in there, I only opened the corner of the package to make sure I wasn't seeing things, let me go open it fully to make sure they aren't apart.

Edit....Phew! they are just like you said, just slightly separated at the tips which is how I could count them, still very together in the middle though. Thanks guys, sorry for the dumb thread. I probably should have opened them, huh

these gaskets rock btw... used them with my pacesetters for 2 years on my daily driver camaro. no probs... even when the header bolts worked a lil loose there were no leaks.
