Regaurdless if you have a "tune" or not, If the battery has been uplugged, the vehicle still needs to "re-learn" its tune.. It takes mine about 4-5 days or 100+ miles of stop and go to really get back on track. My only problem was it would drop RPM at stop signs and such..
Oil pressures seems right on Par..
Since you've already got the CPS on order, go ahead and toss that in and see how it acts..

The idle is perfect after replacing the TPS, and like you said Green, my tune must be smoothing out, because I got on it today and was startled. I ran against a Shelby GT 500 and I made him look stupid. He got pissed and asked me what I had done......He was not a happy camper.
It runs perfect now, and as soon as I get that CPS in, the engine code will be gone so no more CEL finally!
Here is a video clip of startup and idle...

Remember that this is it running with open headers. The camara's mic doesn't like it at first...

lol, everyone who actually posted something in an attempt to help me resolve the situation and ensure there were no repeated mistakes, those are the people who helped me. Whether I already knew about the advice I was being given, or even if I didnt, you at least provided past experiences, CONSTRUCTIVE critisizm, or just a few pointers...
And there is a HUGE difference in CRITISIZM and CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISIZM in case there are people out there who don't understand that!
Just to clear it up for these individuals....critisizm is just making stabs at something and providing your input or opinion of why it was good or bad without providing any LOGICAL or SENSIBLE response whatsoever on how to correct or resolve the situation...
Constructive critisizm is providing those opinions or inputs and then explaining how to fix it, avoid the problem, or help the individual.
If you just want to bash someone for no legitimate reason and you cant provide constructive critisizm when a person asks for help then keep your damn mouths shut!
I can take **** talking and poking fun..but blatant disrespect is not something I put up with.
So again, thanks to those who helped me. I really appreciate it!
To those who disrespected me, lets hope you never encounter someone like yourselves whenever you have a problem or make a mistake, and you will...and when that happens you will see just how unnecessary it really is.
I personally will not stoop to that level though, so if you ever need help, and I can provide it I will be more than happy to do so. Good day

Im glad i could help get your issues straightened out. i helped, see
if you did it right the dots should align when you spin it to #6tdc. i read this thread and ac hotrod sounds more confused then you. i was laughing half the time reading his useless confusing banter. Take the front off. spin the motor by hand and see if the dots align @ crank 12 cam 6 dowel 3. that will be 6tdc.
i would also try and limit the amount of times you physically remove the timing chain especially if your just doing it by eye. Theres always going to be some error if you do it that way without a degree wheel. the more times you do it by the eye the more it could be off.

The idiot comments are you posted the ones I am referring to, you ***. Out of all the comments you made, only 2 of them actually said anything worthwhile, and part of those you were even taking pop shots at achotrod which is the same damn thing! He was mistaken yes, and people corrected him, and he accepted it, but no need to keep the insults going. On top of that did you REALLY need to quote the same idiotic comment 5 ******* times? All you did was prove my case you moron. I'm sorry your in denial and cant admit you have made mistakes too, and its too bad you get your rocks off on other peoples misery, but some day it will come back full circle. Karma and Murphy are ******** and always get you in the end.
I agree, the shop wanted to charge 1500 in labor alone...EVEN AFTER my mistakes I only ended up shelling out 600 for parts and labor, and I learned some very valuable lessons as wel las gained some experience that could benefit me in the long run...NONE OF WHICH RESULT IN ME NOT WORKING ON MY CAR ANYMORE....

I just dont like being disrespected...especially not when I man up to my mistakes and learn from them. He continues to disrespect me. But I'm done. my car runs great, I love it, and I learned alot even if it WAS the hard way.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from but that is just the way it goes on the internet. You have to take the good with the bad but all in all you get it figured out and that is what is important. I am glad you got it running hopefully next time you tear into it everything goes a little smoother.
