Default I have to daily my car now -_-

My daily car bit the dust, so I am forced to daily my z28 with a TH350 lol. This sucks. Anyone want to trade a nice TH350 setup for a TKO or something?

Idk if this is the wrong section or not. Just thought I'd share.

Heh, the MPG isn't what bothers me really.. It's the stress on the motor at such constant high RPMs lol

Temp will go up, naturally, with a constant high RPM.. Mine happens to not like the highway anyway. So I have to navigate with smaller roads lol

If it makes you feel any better I daily drove my last car with a th350 with 3.42s and 28" tires for over two years at a minimum of 200 miles a week. Never had a problem.

Bigger tires will help I run 28" tires to and with my old stall 2800rpm it wasnt bad at all. Granted it was only around town driving no freeway now that I have a 5000rpm stall there is no way I could daily the car

I had a TH400 with 4.10 gears and it sucked. I'm like you consistent rpms will shorten the life of your motor. I went back to a FLT 4l60e they know how to build a strong trans.

I ran the same gear/tire for a year in my formula with the 355/nitrous build, daily drove it and it wasn't bad.

My rx7 has a th400, 4.11's, 4000 stall, big cam, and a 315/60/15, even cruising 70+ mph or driving around town I can still get 15+ mpg.

Do you have home owners insurance? They would cover it if you couldnt get your auto insurance to.

Ive got a 3 speed in my car also, dont DD it though. Id suggest putting a 3.73 or .42 in it if you do alot of hwy driving.
