Colorado Lt1's! where you at?
 

All you guys from colorado step in and tell us your combo's and track time's!

It always fascinates me to see what people are running at Bandimere.
I used to live right there off of Kipling and Belview in Littleton, but pre-owning anything track worhty.
It was always a hoot to find out just how much power was missing whenever a road trip was taken outside of the Rocky Mountain region.

Well unfortunatly right now due to work I am not in the Springs anymore but before I left my Best was 12.4 at 120mph with nitrous and M6. Came down to sea level alittle more mods th350 weight reduction no nitrous ran a 12.2 118 before the th350 let go. Just finished another round of mods plus freshly rebuilt Tranny new stall more weight reduction and new tune hopeing to crest into the 11's here soon no nitrous.

I must say though when I say weight reduction I mean prob everything you can think of or that has been posted in this forum I have done looks like I have a monster truck it sits so high. :D

he hasn't come in here but Joey Kenville (stroked 30th) ran 9.0@150 in bandimere!!!!!! carb'd LT1 on spray.... I have to think the n2o makes the altitude a little better since it's bottled oxygen but still.... that's hauling at altitude...

Yea that is Haulin Bandimere was always a pretty good preped track to so that helps out also. Went to PMP acouple times lol couldnt launch at all but still fun times all in all.

I have not gone to Bandimere yet to run, but I have a buddy with a mostly stock 94 Z that ran a mid 13 and Bandi. He has made some mods since. I will be heading down to get my dyno tue, and times in a couple weeks. As soon as I get my car tweaked right...

I hope to get my car done in time to run it before the seasons over!

Dont know if I'll run ay bandi or just go up to Douglas, WY.

Douglas is lower elevation and a little closer for me to get to.

I highly Doubt a near stock lt1 ran a 13.5 at Bandi.....

I would have to agree when i went to the track I always went with acouple of other LT1's 1 of them was completely bone stock A4 and he ran high 14's low 15's. The others had basic bolt ons and ran mid to low 14's. So unless he was spraying or has one hell of a light car I dont see it happening.

I dunno what all he has done, but it is not as much as mine.....his just runs alot better than mine. With all my shit i have done and all the problems I have, I prolly would run a 16.........maybe 15. I need to fix this shit asap

Horse shit. "Mostly stock" LT1's have a hard enough time running mid 13's at zero elevation much less six thousand feet above sea level.

Hi Guys-
I ran a 13.69 at Bandimere two weeks ago - It was about 90 degrees that day
I am fairly modded 383 stroker with the mild LE1 cam ported heads,headers, stock SS exhaust, high flow cats, etc.
weight is about 3670 with driver
I admit I probably don't have the quickest stroker around...
I plan on going out again when it cools down a bit
