You must use plenty of motor oil or assembly lube. I've used both.

Ok that answers the main question but the other on is that i am installing it now to get everything ready but my heads will still not be ready for a little while. Is it okay to go ahead and still install it now while i wait on the heads?

Order some Comp PN 103. Thats their assembly lube. Its good and sticky and will set on the bearings / cam until you start it up, whereas oil might drain away over time if it sits there for a couple weeks etc.

I've used both oil and assembly lube. What I usually do is use a priming tool and prime the engine with a high speed drill until I see oil coming out of all the pushrods. Then I bolt everything back up, wait for the rtv sealing the intake to set, then I fire it up. Usually it's open headers late at night...neighbors love me.
